Same-Day Dental Crowns Sioux City

Durable, Aesthetic, Dental Crowns for Broken and Damaged Teeth

When a tooth is too damaged to be repaired with a filling—for example because of a cavity that grew too large—dental crowns are the best option to fully cover the tooth, restore its shape, strength and function.

At Hindman Family Dentistry, we understand that a broken, decayed, or damaged tooth can impact both your confidence and comfort. That’s why we use advanced technology that allows us to customize our dental crowns to your mouth, and fully cover your tooth by securely fitting a dental crown over it, preserving your teeth’s look and feel.

Same-Day crown will give you fast relief from pain, while looking great, and offering a long-lasting, affordable solution for your broken, or damaged tooth.

Same-Day Crowns for a Quick Return to your Day-to-Day

We know your time is valuable. With cutting-edge technology like CAD/CAM, we’re able to offer same-day dental crowns, so you don’t have to make multiple trips to our office, take multiple absences from work or school, or nurse a temporary restoration for several weeks. Not to mention, undergo the treatment several times.

In just one visit, you’ll leave with a custom-fit crown designed for durability and a perfect match to your natural teeth.

The restoration looks completely natural, since it is metal-free, and resists stains. The material is durable enough even for the bite force on back molars. Only normal good oral hygiene is needed to keep the crowned tooth healthy and looking great.

Whether you have a packed work schedule or simply want to get back to your routine as quickly as possible, Hindman Family Dentistry makes it easy.

Natural, Aesthetic Crowns for a Confident Smile

Worried about how your dental crown will look? At Hindman Family Dentistry, we pride ourselves on creating crowns that blend seamlessly with your existing teeth. Each crown is custom-made for color, shape, and size, ensuring a natural appearance.

You can trust Dr. Joshua Hindman’s experience in cosmetic dentistry to give you the confident smile you’ve always wanted. Our crowns are perfect for front teeth and areas where aesthetics matter most.

Safe, Biocompatible Materials that won't affect your Health

At Hindman Family Dentistry, in order to produce and fit your dental crowns, we use biocompatible, non-toxic materials like ceramic and zirconia. These materials not only look great but are safe for your overall health, aligning with your commitment to wellness.

Dr. Joshua Hindman ensures that every crown we place is safe, long-lasting, and tailored to fit your lifestyle. Our minimally invasive procedures mean less discomfort and faster recovery.

The Least Invasive Procedure for Your Same-Day Crowns

At Hindman Family Dentistry, we use advanced technology to ensure your dental crown procedure is as uninvasive as possible, prioritizing your comfort and faster recovery. We use digital printing to eliminate the need for uncomfortable, traditional molds, and CAD/CAM technology allows us to design and mill custom crowns on-site, often in a single visit. This precise technology reduces the need for excessive drilling, preserving more of your natural tooth structure.

Our goal is to provide efficient, comfortable care with the least disruption to your life.

Crowns

Why would I need a Dental Crown?

A dental crown is shaped like a hollow tooth. It is cemented over the prepared visible portion of a tooth, allowing most of the natural structure (including the root) to remain intact. Crowns are used to provide strength, protect against further damage, and restore appearance in these situations:

  • Area of tooth decay too large to support a filling
  • Broken tooth
  • Crack that extends below the gum line
  • Excessive wear
  • Cracked tooth syndrome
  • Following root canal therapy
  • To finish a dental implant, replacing a missing tooth
  • As part of a crown and bridge unit, for replacement of up to three consecutive missing teeth
  • For aesthetic improvement in a tooth with deep discoloration, or one that has unusual shape or size

Dr. Joshua Hindman utilizes CEREC technology for same-day crowns. After the damaged tooth is prepared, your mouth is scanned, providing precise 3D digital impressions. An in-house milling machine uses this detailed information to create a beautiful crown from a solid block of porcelain – while you wait. The strong, lustrous restoration is cemented in place, and you leave with a restored smile!

The benefits of dental crowns include:

  1. Restores Tooth Functionality: Crowns protect and restore damaged, decayed, or weakened teeth, allowing you to chew, bite, and speak properly.
  2. Improves Aesthetics: Crowns are custom-made to match the color, size, and shape of your natural teeth, enhancing the appearance of your smile.
  3. Provides Long-Term Durability: Made from strong materials like porcelain, ceramic, or metal, dental crowns can last many years with proper care.
  4. Protects Weak Teeth**: Crowns shield damaged teeth from further decay or fracture, preventing the need for more extensive dental work like extractions or implants.
  5. Supports Dental Structures: Crowns are often used to support a tooth after a root canal or to anchor a dental bridge, helping to maintain the integrity of your bite and overall oral health.

These benefits make crowns an effective solution for both restorative and cosmetic dental needs.
